Not only is Kerry Washington known for her iconic roles in hit TV shows and films like Scandal and Django Unchained, the 46-year-old New York native is also known for her impeccable, ageless complexion. In a recent interview with TZR, the star walked us through all things seasonal beauty and adjusting her self-care routine to account for the changing times, but noted that this face tool is one product she reaches for year-round.
Throughout the interview, Washington opened up to readers about her struggles with eczema and how she has learned to shift her beauty routines seasonally to cater to her changing needs, but made sure to point out the few products that she sticks with no matter the weather. Regardless of the time of year, Washington always finds herself turning to face sculpting devices. “I really am into the Skin Gym devices, I like those a lot,” she says. The viral and celeb-loved brand has everything from gua shas to face rollers and high-frequency wands, all of which are bound to keep you snatched day in and day out.
Another important staple in Washington’s routine regardless of season is, of course, SPF. “There are certain things that I do all the time, like I always use an SPF but I’ll change or adjust my cleansers or my moisturizers at different times,” she explains, noting that SPF and retinol are her two most frequently used products regardless of season.
