Following the drop of its lake-inspired Spring/Summer 2023 collection last week, Brooklyn-based menswear imprint Adsum has tapped functional outerwear label Gramicci for their first-ever collaboration.
Hailing from Ventura, California, Gramicci began as a group of eccentric rock climbers who crafted utilitarian garments for their trips to the mountains in the ’70s. Now, the brand’s technical design approach fuels a fully-fledged fashion label; and today, its function-first codes permeate amongst Adsum’s environmentally-inspired silhouettes in a capsule ready for the outdoors.
At the center of the range, the duo introduces a photo print cargo pant, which features an all-over, black-and-white print of vintage marketing photos from the ’90s. Also available in a sage green colorway, the trousers feature an adjustable strap at the waist and a spacious interior construction. Elsewhere, the Shell Gear Short enlists a water-resistant active shell material made from 100% recycled nylon filament yarns.
In the top section, graphic tees flaunt vintage photography and dual iconography, while full-zip hoodies supply a cropped and boxy fit with a two-way zipper for varied styling. Additionally, a selection of thick workshirts offers dual chest pockets with locking metal YKK zip closures.
Closing out the range, the Tulip Hat is a two-sided bucket hat made from two layers of 100% organic cotton twill that provide full sun protection. One side dons a signature Gramicci photo collage, and the other appears in solid Dusted Purple.
The Adsum x Gramicci collection will be available to shop on Thursday, April 6, at 11 a.m. ET on Adsum’s website. Take a look at the collection in the gallery above.
