Leading the charge for roller skating’s resurgence, Flipper’s Roller Boogie Palace, co-founded by Liberty Ross and Kevin Wall and in partnership with Usher, is returning to The Rink at Rockefeller Center. After its inaugural 2022 season featuring Dr. Dre, Mary J. Blige, Patti Smith, Gayle King, Will.I.Am, Alicia Keys, Floyd Mayweather, Meek Mill, Q Tip, and more, Flipper’s is gearing up for another lineup of exciting programming for its second year.
Kicking off April 14-15, Flipper’s Roller Boogie Palace will be offering a standout collaboration with Los Angeles-based creative collective, Brain Dead. The duo came together to share a mutual emphasis on culture, style, and community through a special range for the return to The Palace. The concise Flipper’s Roller Boogie Palace x Brain Dead collection is comprised of two graphic T-shirts and cap marked by the Fairfax stalwart’s outlook on roller skating and Flipper’s push for the resurgence of the activity.
Take a look at the range above and shop the Flipper’s Roller Boogie Palace x Brain Dead collection to be available exclusively on both Brain Dead and Flipper’s websites starting April 14.
Aside from the limited-edition releases, the weekend-long experience welcoming New Yorkers and visitors from around the world back to The Palace, will feature bespoke DJ sets, surprise appearances, and much more.
“We at Flipper’s are so excited to welcome back the roller skating community to the iconic Rockefeller Center.” said Liberty Ross, Co-Founder and Creative Director of Flipper’s Roller Boogie Palace. “Fashion, music, and culture are at the core of Flipper’s, and having a like-minded collaborator in Brain Dead to start our 2023 year is going to be something New York City won’t want to miss.”
