Teased for weeks, Jakob Hetzer and XLIM have now shared a look at their upcoming “JHXLIM” collection. Celebrating the aesthetic outlooks of the imprint helmed by figure Jakob Hetzer and the South Korean label, their sensibilities resulted in a special range of thoughtfully crafted garments and accessories.
Jakob Hetzer’s “Conversation-driven design ignites the collaboration offering an avenue for XLIM to delve into its signature elements. Riddled with subtle functionality and hidden details, the “JHXLIM” collection is led by a light outer blouson jacket that introduces the sleek black tone and crinkled material found throughout the team-up. The outerwear is marked by contrasting material panels, hidden pocketing, and adjustable cuffs.
The unique construction and dynamic paneling found on the blouson are continued with a collared button-up shirt and relaxed-fit shorts. Another standout of the collection is an asymmetric shaped shoulder bag defined by a tied strap, large flap cover, and string with ring hook hardware detail. Finally, rounding up the “JHXLIM” collection from Jakob Hetzer and XLIM is an evocative corroded metal tray designed to hold the palo santo smudging stick garment tags of XLIM when being burnt.
Take a look at the range above and shop the “JHXLIM” collection when it releases April 7, 8 p.m. KST (7 a.m. EDT) exclusively on Jakob Hetzer and XLIM’s websites.
