Original Story: JJJJound has announced a new collaboration with Levi’s, joining design studio’s recent wave of joint projects involving the likes of BAPE, ROA Hiking, PORTER, Reebok, and Blackstock & Weber.

So far, all we have to go on is a teaser image showing a pair of Levi’s 501Ⓡ jeans. On May 1873, Levi Strauss partnered with American tailor Jacob Davis to put rivets on pants for the first time. Those jeans, marked Lot 501, would be recognized as the very first pair of blue jeans ever made. This year, Levi’s celebrates the 150th anniversary of the silhouette which is arguably the most iconic apparel piece of all time. Defining features of the jeans include the Red Tab, first placed onto the right back pocket in 1936 to differentiate from other jeans on the market. For the collaboration, the JJJJound logo is found subtly integrated onto the red ink jacrons.

Stay tuned for more images and details to surface in the coming days.
