Drama Call
Manchester-based streetwear label Drama Call has just teased an exclusive collaboration with Manchester United and adidas (XETRA:ADS.DE -2.47%) , plastering a collection of tease posters around some of the most iconic spots in the Rainy City.
Having been one of the go-to streetwear imprints around its home of Manchester for a few years now, Charlie Bows’ Drama Call has never been afraid of innovation. After hosting various off-the-cuff pop-ups around the city, Drama has also linked up with some of the most high-profile musicians in the UK such as Aitch and Mancunian road rapper Tunde for collaborative capsule collections.
Now, as Drama announces its brand-new collaboration with the red side of Manchester, the Mancunian roots have been planted as firmly as possible with a collection of posters around the 0161, with a lock-up of Drama Call, Manchester United, and adidas labels appearing underneath a “Made In Manchester” headline.
And while no official imagery of the collaborative garments has surfaced as of yet, fans can expect a fresh line of co-branded tracksuits — dubbed by Drama Call as the “heaviest in the game” — along with T-shirts and accessories. This new Drama Call x Manchester United collaboration also shows close similarities to the Daily Paper x Ajax link-up from last year, with the biggest club in the Netherlands giving a local brand a platform to present its unique designs to the world. You can take a closer look at what’s surfaced from the collaboration so far above and in other fashion news, check out the new Louis Vuitton sunglasses collection.
