Marco De Vincenzo is the Creative Director set to change the course at Etro. For his debut menswear collection, which came as part of Milan Fashion Week FW23, De Vincenzo “studied the every day” in order to create a range of clothes that felt as if they were either previously loved or could be lived in with ease, with ’70s prints and luxurious fabrics enveloping oneself. Now, ahead of that collection’s official release, comes his first shoppable menswear offering — a Summer 2023 capsule collection fit for sunny days on the Italian coast.
Dominated by foliage prints and wild berry motifs, men’s and womenswear is saturated in rich orange, deep blue, and lively green tones that brighten up any dull day. Lightweight cotton and pleated georgette cascaded over the body on summer dresses, and for men, the same array of loose fabrics have been used on T-shirts, shirts, and Bermuda shorts, all encouraging one to take a dip in Etro’s bold new world of print and color.
Plenty of House cues are found too, with a new perforated leather “Coffee Bag” and its signature “Love Trotter Bag” with the Pegasus logo featuring alongside a rural array of floral embroidery both accenting the collection harmoniously.
Take a look at the collection above, and shop the range online or in Etro boutiques now.
