For the first drop of its “High Summer” capsule, Acne Studios puts forth a futuristic view of nature, with ready-to-wear pieces, bags and accessories covered in acid-like hues and bleeding flower motifs — all in celebration of “growth and evolution.”
The collection turns archetypal silhouettes, first seen on the label’s Paris runway in February, into warm-weather-ready ensembles doused in a kaleidoscope of vivid decor. “It’s a game of hard versus soft,” as the brand puts it. Sheer fabrics contrast frayed hems and cracked leather, while bright greens and blues acquaint themselves with subdued earthy colors. Prints, meanwhile, cite sources in flowers and nature’s elements, landing atop tops, bottoms and dresses alike.
In accessories, the “High Summer” capsule houses Acne Studios’ signature oversized sunglasses — this time, in black, pink and white colorways. Skinny scarves arrive in acid tones, harmonizing nicely with the ready-to-wear line’s stark graphics. Rounding out the range, the Distortion crossbody bag appears in a textural, towel fabric in lilac, and the classic Logo Tote, made from a similar terry cloth, comes oversized in neon green.
Acne Studios’ “High Summer” capsule collection is now available to shop online and in the brand’s stores. Take a closer look at the range in the gallery above.
