The robust collection’s inspiration draws from founder Massimo Giorgetti’s trip to Tanzania.

Returning to Milan Fashion Week, Massimo Giorgetti‘s MSGM has followed up on its “Dreamers University” collection for Fall/Winter 2023 with an expansive collection that further explores dreams as a subject of inspiration. This time around, Giorgetti reflected on a trip to Tanzania to inform the collection’s atmosphere, going so far as repurposing imagery captured on his iPhone during the trip — placing it on bowling shirts and tank tops.
Playing with the concepts of ethereal and terrestrial visuals, MSGM has crafted connections between the fantasies infused within each garment and the world that guides its presentation. Organic and tactile fabrics go hand-in-hand with delicate, natural print textures. With the black tailored looks, frayed cotton zebra coats. Elsewhere, terracotta leather combines with milk veining that brings out the beauty of the Earth’s textures. Additional terrain inspiration is noted with knitwear and denim that takes on stained looks. Throughout the collection, workwear-inspired details mix with safari elements that tell a story from start to finish.
