Following initial teasers shared by co-founder Hussein Suleiman, Daily Paper‘s first-ever bag is officially here.
The “Cimbia Shield Bag” is Daily Paper’s first signature statement carrier, acting as an impenetrable safe place for your belongings. The Amsterdam-based label has shaped the bag as a Masaai shield and its core logo, reflecting Daily Paper’s protective community-focused ideals. The emblem is used by Maasai tribe in Eastern Africa and has close ties to Somali, Morocco, and Ghana.
The black leather handbag is crafted from pure material and boasts tonal stitching around the figure. An embossed Masaai symbol makes up most of the bag, featuring an extended handle at the top for easy transportation. Daily Paper’s “Cimbia Shield Bag” comes in a single size and is accompanied by removable shoulder straps for diverse use.
The item will be available on June 9 in-store and online via the brand’s website for $245 USD.
