Russell Westbrook’s brand, Honor The Gift, continues to prove that it is no one-trick pony with the reveal of its new Spring/Summer 2024 collection during Paris Fashion Week. In a time where is particularly easy to write off celebrity brands at first glance, Westbrook’s label is deepening its inner city core and commitment to design growth with each passing season.
For its latest offering, the brand digs into retro 70s sentiments in a fusion of past and present. But what makes the vintage inspiration particularly warm is its focus on family traditions, identity and legacy, which simultaneously upholds its community-oriented core values. The retro silhouettes take form in a range of garments like technical nylon sets, patchwork denim, french terry tops, soft yet complimenting knitwear and more.
Amongst the array of looks, highlights include a corduroy novelty denim set in rich mustard, multicolored crochet knit short dresses and pants and lightweight mohair sets. Elsewhere in the collection are pieces like embroidered eyelet shorts, patchwork denim, cargo pants, button-down knit polos, oversized tees and more. With the latest, Honor The Gift proves it can offer a stylistically versatile arrangement that remains rooted in its personality without comprising stylistic or fabric quality.
