In anticipation for the upcoming JOOPITER sale hosted by Pharrell and Sarah Andelman, the digital auction house is releasing a set of limited edition merchandise for its “Just Phriends” Gift Shop. In tandem with the auction, a retail experience has been assembled, taking design cues from Pharrell’s orbit.
In tune with the mix of rare artworks, culturally-provenant artefacts and exclusive interdisciplinary collaborations that span across fine art, to high jewelery, furniture design, fashion and objects with some of the most exceptionally-coveted artists and designers in the world, the merch collection also sees exclusive partnerships in play. The Paris exhibition, which opens to the public on June 20, features a Gift Shop pop-up that includes an apparel collection, along with unique items and products from artists.
Amongst the Gift Shop pop up, gusts can purchase limited edition artist editions by Futura 2000, Pieter Ceizer, Peter Paid and PitterPatter. In terms of custom “Just Phriends” pieces, the merchandise features t-shirts in collaboration with long-time friends of Pharrell and Andelman, Takashi Murakami, Nadine Ghosn and No More Rulers. The Murakami tee, also known as The Simple Things, arrives in tandem with Pharrell’s own Billionaire Boys Club exclusive “Paris” t-shirt and the “Pharrell-isms Tee” in classic black and white. Besides clothing, a royal purple, limited edition box set of Pharrell-isms edited by Larry Warsh, is signed by Pharrell himself and will also be available with numbered prints. The sets are limited to 300 copies. Other notable products include exclusive pieces from Palm Angels, Bunny Shapiro and Call It By Your Name.
Items are vailable online from June 19, at JOOPITEr and those in Paris can shop the collection in-store at 8 Avenue Matignon, Paris from June 20 to 24 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
