International Woolmark Prize winner and BFC NEWGEN recipient Saul Nash just closed London Fashion Week with a splash. The British designer has injected dance into his craft from day one, and his Spring/Summer 2024 made the beach his next stage.

For SS24, Saul Nash recalled his first visit to the East African island of Mauritius and explored his diverse heritage against sanded runways and crashing waves. Paying tribute to his parents, Nash dissected his mother’s Guyanese roots and his father’s English and Mauritian heritage.

Titled “Intersection,” the collection saw models lay back and relax before walking down the runway with relaxed movements. The atmosphere reflected Mauritius’ calm way of life, informed by the designer’s distinct cultural perspective.

Buffed male models showed off their chiseled torsos in Nash’s summer-ready swimwear offering. Encapsulating wetsuits stood strong in bold red hues, followed by knitted tops and matching speedos. Gliding water illustrations migrated across skin-tight tops, paired with slouchy nylon bottoms and grandad-inspired woven sandals. The designer’s customary tracksuits were made for swift summer evenings, accompanied by fish-embroidered sailor jackets, graphic swimming trunks, and branded beach towels.

Take a closer look at Saul Nash’s SS24 collection in the gallery above. Stay tuned to Hypebeast across June for coverage of Milan and Paris Fashion Week.
