For Spring/Summer 2024, GR10K offers an attempt in creating a “stable platform,” which they described as “a definition of boundaries and styles that could expand and propel creativity without being force-fed by it.” The collection was presented in Paris with an accompanying avant-garde performance of “18hz destroying my tahoe.”
Entitled “without great care in any case,” the collection comprises 24 looks in the label’s signature workwear-oriented and military-esque aesthetics. Technical and fuss-free silhouettes permeate the lineup, spanning light jackets, utility pants, pocketed shirts, and knee-length shorts. These pieces are doused in a range of neutral shades ranging from gray, khaki, sand beige, black, and navy, which are subtly elevated with the occasional garment in bright orange, brick red, yellow-green, and mosaic-like prints.
“We found ourselves back in places and spaces that could encapsulate and foster any spectrum of creativity, being it violently repugnant or gently murderous, as art has always been,” GR10K explained.
