British knitwear brand HADES has just presented its new collection for Fall/Winter 2023 and it’s dedicated to the romantic and the rebellious, bundled up into a new collection titled “Hell Is Other People.”

Taking inspiration from Jean-Paul Satre’s 1944 existentialist play Huis Clos (No Exit), HADES’ new collection features various designs that nod toward the French Second Empire decor in the room Joseph, Inèz, and Estelle, are damned to spend eternity in throughout Jean-Paul Satre’s show.

With this in mind, the new drop from HADES presents three new skirts, which tap into hues of black and blue — and dictate various moments from Huis Clos – along with unseen scarves that are complemented by a slew of picturesque statues.

Rounding off the collection, HADES also includes a melange of unseen pieces — including a new cardigan in a striking blue colorway — that feature a slew of intricate details, from abstract buttons to ribbed detailing.
