After staging a theatrical experience during Paris Fashion Week Men’s last month, KidSuper has returned with a comical, stop-motion advertisement to promote his latest slate of fan-favorite Kissing Bags.
The video, which features animation from Jon Frier, sees the sensual handbags cozy up by a fire while drinking, smoking and engaging in some raunchy activities. “We put them in a room and when the camera was off this is what happened,” KidSuper wrote on Instagram alongside the campy advertisement.
The smooching accessories are launching in a slew of new colorways, including “Green,” “Orange”, “Yellow” and “Purple.” Notably, the bag, which was previously only available in “Medium,” will now also come in a new “Mini” size.
KidSuper’s Kissing Bag first met the world in June of last year, when designer Colm Dillane revealed his inaugural multi-colored iteration of the artful accessory on Instagram with high hopes: “This will become the IT bag!” he wrote. Upon release, the lip-locked handbag sold out in under one minute, and the brand then launched a blue colorway, which later sold out in less than five minutes.
KidSuper’s latest Kissing Bags will be available via the brand’s webstore on July 7 at 11 a.m. ET. Take a look at the collection in the gallery above.
