KRAKATAU is known as an outerwear connoisseur that blends technical styles and performance. Now, the label is upgrading its cadence with its new Spring/Summer 2024 collection, which further develops performance-oriented garments for urban environments.
Part of the fuel of the new collection comes from society’s reliance on machines and the changing weather climate. As such, KRAKATAU deems it necessary to craft enhanced garments that are equipped to handle both arenas. Comprising the collection is a selection of pieces like outerwear, lightweight athleisure garments, technical pants, cargo pants, shorts and more. As the brand specializes in outerwear, jackets remain a collection highlight.
Pieces like lightweight hybrid down jackets, raincoats with welded seams, oversized technical camo shell jackets, parkas and more build an arsenal that is both weather-ready and utilitarian in style. Whether it be a jacket, athleisure pieces like bodycon tops or cargos, the entire collection harbors a muted palette – filled with shades of classic black, dusty grays, chalk, soft greens and deep blues.
