The Gucci Cosmos exhibition is coming to London, meaning we Brits will be able to get up close and personal with the House’s 102-year history.
Heading to 180 Studios in Central London, the expertly-curated exhibition will see the British artist Es Devlin‘s take on making a space fit for England’s capital city, littering elements of London-isms and archival inspirations alongside vintage pieces to explore what inspired Guccio Gucci back in 1921.
Elsewhere, the Italian curator Maria Luisa Frisa has pulled never-before-seen Gucci archive pieces exclusively for the London exhibition. The impact will see more than a century’s worth of items — both iconic and niche – coming together to paint the picture of Gucci’s success, and how each item has played a notable part in defining the House today.
Gucci Cosmos will open its doors at 180 Studios on October 11 and it will run until December 31, 2023.
