Venezia FC and Kappa have just presented their new pre-match jersey for the 2023/24 season and it sees the duo celebrate the relationship between the club and the fans.
The new kit takes inspiration from the city of Venice and the spirit of those who live there. In collaboration with English photographer, Sam Gregg, the official campaign for the release enlists a collection of Venezia locals from all generations.
Showcasing Venetian citizens as its protagonists, both from the islands and mainland, the campaign makes up the social fabric of the close-knit club. Focusing on fishermen from the Giudecca area to the artisans, to locals playing football in the Campielli up to the shipwrights of the Squeri, the jersey represents one common thread: being a Venetian.
Crafted with a crewneck silhouette, the jersey has been hit with a green, orange, and black striped design. This color scheme has been used as a tribute from the club to the soul of the city inspired by its people. Additionally, Venezia FC’s customary club crest can be spotted on the chest, while the corresponding Kappa branding is applied to the opposite side.
