Simone Rocha menswear was a long time coming, and as we expected, the designer’s Spring/Summer 2023 collection was a knockout. Following on from that, naturally, was Fall/Winter 2023’s even bigger display of menswear, and this is now available to shop exclusively at Dover Street Market London.
The FW23 men’s array commences with a workwear jacket, of course, tweaked within the Rocha realm. As such, the signature piece is given voluminous arms that puff from the shoulder down to narrow buttoned cuffs, while a point collar, oversized buttons, a front pocket, and a floral embellishment crafted in crystals all come together for more Rocha touchpoints.
Likewise, the Cuban collar black lace shirt is another instantly-recognizable part of Rocha’s work. Here, the shirt uses overlapping and various arrays of lace to create a complex illusion on the body, perfectly worn buttoned-up or open if you’d like to reveal the Simone Rocha “Graphic Project” cherub T-shirt beneath.
Elsewhere, FW23’s drop brings rose-detailed classic-fit white shirts, a round “Peter Pan” collar shirt, and another white shirt decorated with the designer’s pearl appliqué on the collar. Rounding out the drop, we find a graphic long-sleeve tee with pink sculptures gracing the arm, and a pleated skirt fitted with classic sartorial cues and buttons.
