Emerging and independent knitwear brand AGR has connected with Chivas to drop an exclusive capsule that celebrates the beautiful game of football.
With several collections under its belt — including a high-profile link-up with Hatton Labs — AGR has also received co-signs from world-renowned stars such as Nicki Minaj, Mabel, and FLO. Additionally, the imprint made its Fashion Week debut at London Fashion Week in 2022, unveiling a slew of street-ready styles that leaned into the cultural importance of sports.
More of the same has been encapsulated in AGR’s latest collaboration with Chivas, with the three-piece capsule featuring a signature jersey, shorts, and bucket hat. All three styles aim to capture the unique energy that takes over match-day along with the diversity of football communities through the use of AGR’s eye-catching and vibrant aesthetics combined with classic Chivas visuals.
Taking the campaign to a local pub, the new collection is modeled by British talent, Henrie Kwushue, Nicole Chui, and Molly O’Donaghue. Aiming to blend retro-football-inspired looks with “modern fandom and style,” AGR’s founder, Alicia Robinson, said: “Football kits are famously bold and colorful which is something that has always been at the heart of my designs, so collaborating with Chivas on this was a no-brainer.”
