Arc’Teryx Veilance, founded in 2009, has long served as a premium purveyor of advanced technical outerwear, with an expansive roster of lightweight, high-performing staples. For Fall 2023, the tactical sub-label has lifted the veil on a range of sturdy, weather-protected wares, made with ultra-airy textiles.
With a multi-purpose approach, the collection is “engineered for the outdoors” and “tailored for the city,” per the brand. Kicking off the lineup, Veilance’s Altus Insulated Jacket offers a storm shield for harsh climates, with waterproof and windproof GORE-TEX and GORE C-KNIT™ technology. The Euler Insulated Jacket, meanwhile, boasts a refined shape, with a high collar, enlarged pockets and Coreloft™ insulation for extra warmth.
Down the line, the clean-cut Mionn Insulated Overshirt similarly enlists a Coreloft™ fill, with a wind and mist-resistant TerraTex™ nylon shell. There’s also a Mionn Insulated Jacket, which adopts the same composition, with added hand pockets, a low-profile collar and a zip closure.
For changing environments, the hooded Quartic Jacket prioritizes versatility, with an essential soft shell composed of a stretched, double-weave fabric that is wind-resistant and water-repellent. The Isogon MX Jacket is Veilance’s pick for transitional weather, employing a double-weave softshell material that resists moisture and an adjustable StormHood™ for added coverage.
Rounding out the range, the Frame LS Shirt, made from ultrafine Merino wool yarns, offers comfort, temperature regulation and odor resistance in the outdoors; and the Voronoi Pant dons a laminated construction, with a recycled-nylon Fortius™ 2.0 softshell.
