Hedi Slimane‘s CELINE collections have been particularly knock-out as of late, and now you can feel like a rockstar thanks to the inaugural drop of the House’s Winter 2023 collection, “LA COLLECTION DU PALACE.“
With this opening seasonal drop, we find a number of staple elements from the runway show. For example, the black and silver wool-cloth embroidered cardigan, at $6,100 USD, is a collection standout, featuring an incorporated bow tie with pearl and sequin detailing throughout. Elsewhere, we find the brown wax-effect lambskin leather Western Blousson, serving up a heavy slice of Slimane goodness, the brushed Alpaca wool cardigan with an embroidered tiger all over it, and of course, a satin Teddy jacket — because it wouldn’t be Slimane without one.
For more casual moments, CELINE readies a velvet wool sweater with orange-gold disc structures on the piece, a Hawaiian shirt, jeans and leather trousers cut for the rocker within you, skinny belts, and a timeless pair of Cuban heeled boots capped with metal on the toe.
It’s an expansive range, presenting itself as one to dress up or down in — striped wool double-breasted blazers paired with skinny trousers and equally narrow boots ooze indie sleaze, while logo-branded hoodies and tees are there for something more off-duty.
