Southeast London-born label HERESY is grounded in British folklore, commenting on its founders’ creative practices through detailed garments inspired by fantastical tales. HERESY has just unveiled its Fall/Winter 2023 “Ground Work” collection, connecting with natural environments alongside friendly company.
Dominic Owen and Jasper Dunk’s HERESY explores rural lands for FW23, relaxing inside petite apartments and homely RVs. The brand’s refined identity collides with street-ready silhouettes in Earthy palettes, strolling next to dated water wells in padded outerwear and shearling bottoms. Alfresco illustrations enchant coordinating designs while slithering snakes move across wool zip-ups.
HERESY’s FW23 collection is made for countryside inhabitants who nurture its territory, crafted from resistant textiles that allow for intense play. Warped angels fly high on blackened crewnecks and hooded jackets, seeing repeated stone heads peek through graphic tees. The collection is rounded out by webbed knitwear, muted shirting, and relaxed accessories.
