Season after season, SUNNEI gives its audience a chance to participate in its collection reveals. While Fall/Winter 2023 staged a crowd-surfing rock ‘n roll concert, Spring/Summer 2024 saw the SUNNEI team host a fashion judging panel across 30 striking looks.
The Italian label’s new collection was backdropped by humorous wording detailing the hidden realities of Fashion Week. Each guest was given ten paddles with the ranging numbers, allowing them to grade every outfit. The interactive showcase began with a black motorcycle jacket layered atop a contrast-stitched dress, followed by upcycled denim ensembles and athletic tops with hybrid bottoms. Striped shirting and hand-printed versions complemented V-neck tops and puffed skirts, while bedazzled hearts were held high on silk maxi dresses.
Braided layers and oversized apron dresses were given handcrafted treatments, completing the collection with platformed sandals, bulbed loafers, and puffed leather handbags.
