For Fall/Winter 2023, UNIQLO U, which is helmed by Christophe Lemaire, builds on its philosophy of easygoing yet attractive silhouettes that are fit for everyday wear. But this time around, the label posits an air of effortless chic.
The new collection prepares for the cooler months ahead while still centering on balanced functionality and relaxed comfort. The wardrobe consists of versatile outerwear, knitwear, tops, relaxed trousers and more that stand out with design details that include clean lines, streamlined silhouettes and clean proportions. Elevating the lineup are fall/winter-ready hues of rich brown, beige, rust, gray and charcoal.
“To make clothes that are like good friends – nothing that constrains you, nothing that disguises you,” said Lemaire about the collection.
Outfitted with both transitional and deep-season garments, highlights from the co-ed collection include padded coats, jersey-tailored jackets, lambswool knits and comfortable flannels. Specifically, the men’s padded volume jacket features a relaxed silhouette, which still harbors elevated elements, while the women’s olive belted trench boasts classic style even though it sits with contemporary styles.
