Henri Levy’s Enfants Riches Déprimés is grounded in punk rock, founded as an avant-garde institution in 2012. The LA-born brand follows the 1970s and ’80s fashion movements, expanding worldwide without slowing down. Enfants Riches Déprimés presented its Spring/Summer 2024 collection at Paris Fashion Week, shutting down the l’Oratoire du Louvre for a historical showcase.
Enfants Riches Déprimés SS24 tells a romantic tale of wandering American tourists documenting their travels across a rebellious collection. SS24 is ruthlessly disobedient, opening the runway with dirtied outerwear and dangling spoon earrings. Models walked in babydoll uniforms made from silk shirting, waist straps, and ribboned detailing. Deconstructed neckties hung from unbuttoned shirts and cropped blazers, while distressed vests and double-waisted trousers are destined for global adventures.
Levy’s troublesome identity comes across leather harnesses with integrated handcuffs, paired with Wild West cowboy hats and patched-up Canadian tuxedos. Faded leather uniforms round out the range alongside buckled suiting and floral coats with a vintage feel.
