Carlos Alcaraz, Grand Slam Champion and the world’s youngest No. 1 tennis player, has added another impressive title to his belt, as the newest Louis Vuitton (PARIS:MC.PA +1.20%) House Ambassador. Following a Nike sponsorship, as well as Rolex and Calvin Klein endorsements, the athlete’s latest foray into fashion will see him represent the luxury label in marketing campaigns and at events, through a “collaborative adventure.”

“It’s such a dream to me to be a part of the Louis Vuitton family,” states Alcaraz in a new video released by the fashion house on Instagram. In the visual, he reflects upon his lifelong connection to Louis Vuitton, having always viewed the brand as a pinnacle of “elegance” and something to strive towards. “I saw people with Louis Vuitton bags and I always wanted to get one of those.”

It’s been a massive week for the young athlete, who also took home the win at the annual Queen’s Club Championships, reclaiming his number-one title, this weekend. At the top of his game, Alcaraz is eager to take his next steps into the fashion world. “The truth is that I feel very proud,” he said.

The charismatic athlete joins a stacked list of the house’s recent ambassadors, including Zendaya, J-Hope and Chloe Grace Moretz. Notably, Hyein of the K-pop group Newjeans is the youngest LV ambassador, having earned her appointment at just 14 years old.
